MY PRAYER FOR TODAY AND TOMOROW AND ………PRAISE THE LORD FOR ANSWER !

Christianity can be condensed into four words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. -Samuel Wilberforce

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY :
Lord we know You are coming back soon. You know the burden in my heart for my family and friends (and their children and mine). You know how much my heart breaks for those who are lost. Lord please hear our cries for them. Speak to their hearts. turn them away from sin and away from the lures of the devil who is trying to confuse them and deceive them. The people of this generation don’t believe that You could be returning very soon, but all it would take would be for them to read Your word for themselves and we know Your word will open their spiritual eyes and ears and understanding for The Truth. Lord please impress upon their hearts a need to know You, impress upon their hearts to read Your Holy Word, show them how much You love them by placing them in your care, for Lord you know without You, they haven’t got a prayer. Give them a hope and a future. Take away all feelings of unworthiness that they may be feeling. Fill their hearts with Your joy. Lead them to Your heart, Lord!!!

Please Answer our prayers ASAP and bring them to true repentance and Salvation in Jesus name Amen.

BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD-Luke 19:38

Christianity can be condensed into four words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. -Samuel Wilberforce

OUR DAILY BREAD
Who Is This?
March 25, 2018
Read: Luke 19:28–40
Bible in a Year: Joshua 19–21; Luke 2:25–52
Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!—Luke 19:38
Imagine standing shoulder to shoulder with onlookers by a dirt road. The woman behind you is on her tiptoes, trying to see who is coming. In the distance, you glimpse a man riding a donkey. As He approaches, people toss their coats onto the road. Suddenly, you hear a tree crack behind you. A man is cutting down palm branches, and people are spreading them out ahead of the donkey.
Jesus’s followers zealously honored Him as He entered Jerusalem a few days before His crucifixion. The multitude rejoiced and praised God for “all the miracles they had seen” (Luke 19:37). Jesus’s devotees surrounded Him, calling out, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” (v. 38). Their enthusiastic honor affected the people of Jerusalem. When Jesus finally arrived, “the whole city was stirred and asked, ‘Who is this?’ ” (Matthew 21:10).
Today, people are still curious about Jesus. Although we can’t pave His way with palm branches or shout praises to Him in person, we can still honor Him. We can discuss His remarkable works, assist people in need, patiently bear insults, and love each other deeply. Then we must be ready to answer the onlookers who ask, “Who is Jesus?” —Jennifer Benson Schuldt
Lord, may my life and my words express what I know about who You are. I want others to see You in me and to know You too.
We honor God’s name when we live like His children.
INSIGHT: Do you sometimes struggle with finding the right words and right time to speak about Jesus? Your concern and hesitancy may be from God. There is a time to speak and a time to be quiet (Ecclesiastes 3:7). The Spirit knows the difference. Sometimes He is in the quiet moments and thoughtful actions that prepare the way for words later. Sometimes He enables us to fill a silence so ripe for words that if we don’t gently express our confidence in Jesus, it might feel as if even “the stones will cry out” (Luke 19:40). Mart DeHaan

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Christianity can be condensed into four words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. -Samuel Wilberforce

Heavenly Father,
As the palm branches were spread out
before Jesus, as He rode into Jerusalem,
so we wait for Him now
with our hearts spread out.
Prepare us to be with you.
Open our eyes,
so your light may
shine all around us.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

PRAYER FOR DIVINE FORGIVENESS AT WESTERN WALL-WATCH:Pre-Yom KippurPrayers

Christianity can be condensed into four words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. -Samuel Wilberforce

Tens of thousands of people attend communal prayers nightly at the Western Wall during the High Holiday season, asking for Divine forgiveness.

The Kotel in the Old City of Jerusalem is especially busy in the days leading up to Rosh Hashana through Yom Kippur, when Jews pray for forgiveness for any sins committed during the past year.

Jewish prayer services are generally held during the day and early evening, but the selichot prayers, asking forgiveness during the High Holiday season, are different. They take place past midnight and in the wee hours of the morning.

Both Ashkenazim (Jews of German and eastern European background) and Sephardim (Jews of Spanish, Portuguese, North African and Middle Eastern descent) recite selichot, although there are differences in tradition. This particular video, made by photographer Eli Abdu ahead of Yom Kippur, depicts a sephardic service, which is evident in the word pronunciation and tune.

THE DAY OF ATONMENT IN ISRAEL-YOM KIPPUR-PRAY NOW WHILE THERE IS YET TIME !

   yom-kippur-01

PRAY NOW WHILE THERE IS YET TIME !

Let us all pray for peace – we need it now more than we have for many, many years. YHWH will hear the earnest prayer of the faithful.

The sun in setting andYom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) is quickly

approaching, here inIsrael. For the next two days here in the Holy Land

there will be no cars on the street, no restaurants open, no stores doing
business…instead we will all be focused on prayer, fasting, and repentence.

May God bless us all with revealed goodness and let us – and
all of Israel – be written in the book of life, peace, holiness,
happiness, health, prosperity, and brotherhood. ‘God, open my mouth so I
may sing Your praises!’ AMEN!

Yom Kippur: Day of Atonement

The LORD said to Moses, “The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement.  Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.  Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God.  Anyone who does not deny himself on that day must be cut off from his people.  I will destroy from among his people anyone who does any work on that day.  You shall do no work at all.  This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.  It is a sabbath of rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the  ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath” (Leviticus 23: 26-32 NIV).  (See Exodus 30: 10 and Numbers 29: 7-11 also.)

Much time had been lost, and sailing had already become dangerous because by now it was after the Fast [Day of Atonement] (Acts 27: 9 NIV).

The Day of Atonement is considered most holy among God’s Appointed Times.  It is a day of fasting, prayer, and assembly.  Some equate the Day of Atonement (also known as the Day of Purging) to the Judgment.

Salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Messiah). our Passover Lamb.  Good works do not produce salvation; rather, salvation produces good works.  During the Fall Feasts, I am acutely aware of how I have “missed the mark” by what I have done or left undone.  For me, the Fall Feasts are a time of reflection, repentance, and spiritual renewal–an opportunity to have a closer relationship with the Lord.

As I study God’s Appointed Times, I am beginning to participate in them. Since His feasts are holy convocations (dress rehearsals), I want to be ready for the events they foreshadow.  Just as the Spring Feasts foreshadowed Christ first advent, the Fall Feasts foreshadow His second coming.

One day ALL nations will celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Zechariah 14: 16).

Yom Kippur begins at sundown tonight (9/13/2013).

Do the following verses relate to the Day of Atonement?  I don’t know.  What do you think?“When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.  All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.  Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world” (Matthew 25: 31-3 NIV)“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels’” (Matthew 25: 41 NIV).

But I tell you that all men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.  For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matthew 12: 36-37).

F130913DG03-635x357Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, which will commence at sundown on Friday and continue until nightfall Saturday, is expected to be particularly hot in Israel this year.

The solemn day falls earlier in the Gregorian calendar than usual — the Hebrew calendar is a hybrid of solar and lunar cycles — and temperatures across Israel are expected to be higher than usual, even for mid-September.

According to the Israel Meteorological Service, in Tel Aviv temperatures are expected to reach 34°C (93°F) on Friday and 32°C (90°F) on Saturday.

Jerusalem is expected to be even hotter, with temperatures hitting 36°C (97°F) on Friday and 34°C (93°F) on Saturday.

The highest temperatures in Israel on Saturday are expected in Tiberias, by the Sea of Galilee, where it will hit 39°C (102°F) and in the southern port city of Eilat, where meteorologists expect a high of 41°C (106°F).

Magen David Adom officials have asked that anybody fasting — polls over the years have shown that most Israelis do — make sure to begin drinking a lot of water Friday morning, and to continue doing so until the beginning of the fast (6:12 p.m. in Jerusalem and 6:29 p.m. in Tel Aviv). Over the course of the day, fasters are urged to spend as much time as possible in the shade or in air-conditioned buildings.

If the weather forecast turns out to have been accurate, this will be the hottest Yom Kippur in Israel in 11 years. In the past 50 years higher temperatures than those predicted for this year have been recorded only twice.

The fast will end on Saturday evening at 7:26 in Tel Aviv and 7:24 in Jerusalem.

THE PATRIOT’S PRAYER

God of the brave that sought

Thy aid, And in Thy robe of strength arrayed,

They won for us beneath Thy care,

The flag we prize, the peace we share,

O Lord, defend our nation yet,

Nor let our hearts Thy name forget;

O Lord, defend our nation yet,

Nor let our hearts Thy name forget.

Daily Prayer For March 24th

Daily Prayer For March 24th

palm sunday

Hi, Friends, Here is the morning prayer…

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this day…this day we call Palm Sunday…the day that starts the week where we remember your death and all you suffered…we can visualize the heavy cross you carried and the horrific brutality you endured…but all of that paled in comparison to the weight you felt from our sins and the separation it caused from your Heavenly Father.

Lord, we ask for all who are reading this… may the meaning of this week speak to them as never before. You tell us in your word that we should share in your suffering and many here are doing that. They are bearing their own personal crosses and it can be hard… many grow weary and tired and at times it feels like they are falling under the heavy weight of their burdens… many people wonder where you are in the midst of their suffering, but you are right beside them. Seeing each tear…hearing each cry… reaching out with outstretched arms and nail pierced hands…saying “I know and understand”… you are there to help empower us to overcome with your strength and might! Just as Jesus knew the victory that was coming after all He endured, may each one praying, remember that suffering lasts for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

You died to set us free…to give us hope…to give us life everlasting, if we only believe! Help us to remember that our reward is not just joy and happiness after grief and trials have ended…but our reward is YOU!!

You don’t want to just protect us or bless us, but you want to give us more of you. You are our great reward. May that fill each one of us with peace and comfort, Lord. Please go before us this day and stir within us a desire for you, like we’ve never known. Change us and mold us and help us to see ourselves and our lives, through your eyes.

May this week be a time of reflection for us…may we view our pain, infirmities, hardships and losses in the light of all that Jesus went through. May we think about your great love for us and your incredible sacrifice. We thank you that as you entered the city to great fanfare on that first Palm Sunday, there is coming a day when you are going to triumphantly enter our world again, with even greater fanfare, because every eye will behold you and your resurrected glory. You are so worthy to be praised our Lord, Savior, and King! We thank you that we have a Savior, in whose name we can pray, Amen.

Blessings be upon you all!

In His love,
Debbie
