CE-I HARUL ?
1. Mă-ntrebi: ce e harul?E o Sfântă minune
Când Soarele-apare şi nu mai apune,
Şi chiar peste neguri şi nori de-ncercări,
Te poartă-n lumină pea’ slavei cărări.
2. Ce-i harul? E Domnul ce vine pe valuri
Şi-n miezul de noapte te-aduce la maluri;
E Domnul, Păstorul, ce-ţi dă un sărut
Când alţii cu pumnii-ncleştaţi te-au bătut.
3. Cei harul? E-o viaţă deplin înnoită
În sângele Jertfei, ca neaua albită.
E haina purtată din zori la apus,
Dar fără de pată în Domnul Isus.
4. Ce-i harul? E visul deja ce se vede,
Trăit cu iubire în cel care crede;
E pacea pe faţa acelui iertat,
În vorbele sfinte şi-n gândul curat.
5. Ce-i harul? E Domnul pe crucea amară,
În locul tău, Mielul întins ca să moară,
E ziua-nvierii din veacul cel rău,
Când poţi şi tu spune: “Sunt, Doamne, al Tău!”

1 I ask, “What is Grace?”
It is a Holy miracle
When the Sun appears and does not set
And even over fog and clouds of trials
He carries you in light on the paths of Glory
2 What is Grace? It is the Lord that comes on the waves
And at midnight takes you to shore
It is the Lord, the Shepherd, that gives you a kiss
When others with clenched fists have beaten you
3 What is Grace? It is a life completely renewed
In the blood of His Sacrifice, made white as snow
It is the Holy clothing worn on the last day
Chlothing that is stainless in the Lord Jesus’s blood
4 What is Grace? It is the dream already seen
Lived with love in Him who believes
It is the peace on the face of the forgiven
In Holy words and clean thought
5 What is Grace? It is the Lord on the bitter cross,
In your place, the Lamb spread out to die
It is the day of resurrection from the evil age
When you too can say, “Lord, I am Yours.”
