HELL FIRE: The Most Powerful Sermon Ever!!!

Christianity can be condensed into four words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. -Samuel Wilberforce

Are you sure you're going to heaven when you die? Or are you willing to chance your eternal soul and possibly end up in hell fire?? Why not make sure of the matter today, while there is still time?

The good news is: You can KNOW that you're going to heaven. The Bible clearly states:

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13

You see, God wants us to KNOW, and have the matter settled. There can be no misery greater than living life wondering if some day you will lift up your eyes in hell!

The Bible so wonderfully makes salvation clear. It is a gift given of God, that cannot be earned in any way of our own doing.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." Titus 3:5

Jesus Christ made this wonderful, free salvation possible.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John
3:16

Do you see what the verse says? It is simply BELIEF, or rather FAITH, TRUST, in Jesus Christ that saves. I am so thankful for these following verses that tell of man who sincerely wanted to be saved, and was told how:

"Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts
16:29-30

Christ came to this earth, God in the flesh, a perfect man who never committed sin. He sacrificed His life of the cross of Calvary, shed His blood, as PAYMENT for our sin. You see, our sin separates us from a perfect and Holy God. We have no way to approach God in and of ourselves, for He is HOLY, righteous, perfect, and pure. He cannot tolerate sin. So Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, that we might be reconciled *(bought back) to God. We can come to the Father through Jesus Christ His Son!

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

So what must I believe, more specifically, about Jesus Christ to be eternally saved, you may ask...? You are saved by BELIEVING the good news of the Gospel, Christ's death, burial, and resurrection!
When you accept this beautiful truth, that Christ loves you and died for YOUR sins, and arose from the grave FOR YOU, TO SAVE YOU FROM HELL, and you simply say yes to Him (call upon the Lord), in child-like simplicity, offering nothing of yourself or self-righteousness to God, but clinging only to CHRIST'S MERIT and HIS righteousness, YOU WILL BE SAVED.

1 Corinthians 15 says:

"1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Would you be willing to put your whole-hearted faith on Jesus to make it to heaven... instead of trusting yourself and your own way? If you say yes, and will trust what the Bible promises to every sinner who would believe on Jesus Christ, would you humbly go to God in prayer and ask Him to save you in the name of Jesus?

God bless you all who watch my videos. I pray many will come to know of the wonderful saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Gospel Hymns For Daily Strength

24616_585263431498579_1654983298_n

It is new, it is new every moment,

Half its marvels have never been told;

This glad message of hope and redemption,

This sweet Gospel that never grows old.

’Tis a message of bounty and mercy,
Full of heart-throbs of love from the throne;
They who quaff at its fountain of promise
Make the glories of Heaven their own.

It has balm for the wounds of life’s battle,
For the great Healer left it below;
And it tells how the heart, sin makes crimson,
Grows, by faith in His blood, white as snow.

Happy souls, happy souls that receive it,
They have only to learn and believe;
Just to turn from earth-idols to Jesus,
Keep His word, and salvation receive.

Tell it over and over,
Tell it over again;
Tell of mercy and love and salvation,
Till all earth shall reply, Amen!

THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE

The Eye Of The Needle

Q.  I remember being told that in Jerusalem there was a passage between two walls of the city that was referred to as the eye of the needle. It was very difficult for a camel to go thru and hence the words from Christ that it was easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle then for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This was a reference to that area in between the walls and the people understood that it would be difficult but certainly not impossible. Have you heard of this?

 A. Over the years I’ve come across several opinions on what the Lord really meant by the eye of the needle comparison.  All of them have tried to moderate the degree of difficulty rich people have in getting into heaven by making the eye of the needle symbolic of something else.

But the Lord’s statement came on the heels of His discussion with the rich young man.  He went away sad because the Lord had exposed his over riding love of wealth.  It was so strong that he couldn’t sell his possessions even if it kept him out of the Kingdom (Mark 10:17-24).

After the Lord’s gave His “eye of a needle” illustration (Mark 10:25) Peter asked who could possibly be saved because the Jews believed that wealth was a reward for righteousness. The Lord answered that while salvation was impossible for man, it was not impossible for God. All things are possible for God. (Mark 10:27)

I think the Lord had a literal needle and a literal camel in mind to show that it’s literally impossible for even a righteous rich man to get himself into the Kingdom. Only the Lord can do it.  It was as vivid a picture of His Grace as you’ll find anywhere in Scripture

DAYS OF PRAISE-PRAISE HIM FOR HIS DEATH~TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Days of Praise

What Christ's Death Meant to Him

"Christ gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:14)

 If one were to ask why Jesus died, the average evangelical would usually say that He died to save us from our sins. It is true that "Christ died for our sins" (1 Corinthians 15:3), but this is not the whole answer, by any means. Too many Christians think of the death of Christ only in terms of what it means for them--not what it mean to Him.

 Our text says that He died for us and redeemed us from iniquity, not just to keep us from going to hell, but to "purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." Paul says: "For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the living" (Romans 14:9). He wants a people who will have Him as Lord of their lives. "Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; . . . That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:25-27).

 "He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again" (2 Corinthians 5:15). "How much more shall the blood of Christ . . . purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14). Finally, the apostle Peter reminds us that the Lord Jesus Christ "bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness" (1 Peter 2:24), "that henceforth we should not serve sin" (Romans 6:6).

 We who have been saved by the redeeming death of Christ for our sins often thank Him for what He has done for us--and we should. But we also should praise Him for what He has thereby done for Himself, and then seek always to live in such a way that His holy purpose is accomplished in our lives. HMM

   Description: Days of Praise

To God Be the Glory!!!

"Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake." (Psalm 115:1)

 One of the great words of the Bible is the word "glory," and it should be evident that glory belongs to God, not man. Indeed, the very "heavens declare the glory of God" (Psalm 19:1). Not only do the heavens declare His glory, but "his glory |is| above the heavens" (113:4), and "the glory of the LORD shall endure for ever" (104:31). In heaven the mighty hosts of angels "give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name" (29:2).

 It is thus singularly inappropriate for God's servants on earth to seek glory for themselves. "Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD" (Jeremiah 9:23-24).

 This Old Testament exhortation is echoed in the New. "God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; . . . That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 1:27, 29-31).

 As our text reminds us, God manifests His glory to us today in both mercy and truth, mercifully saving us in Christ, who is Himself God's truth (John 14:6). Thus, in Christ, "mercy and truth are met together" (Psalm 85:10), and we shall "praise thy name for thy lovingkindness |same word as 'mercy'| and for thy truth" (Psalm 138:2). HMM

HEAVEN-Is Heaven real?

Is Heaven real?

is heaven real

Question: "Is Heaven real?"

Answer:
Heaven is indeed a real place. The Bible tells us that heaven is God’s throne (Isaiah 66:1;Acts 7:48-49; Matthew 5:34-35). After Jesus’ resurrection and appearance on earth to His disciples, “He was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God” (Mark 16:19; Acts 7:55-56). “Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence” (Hebrews 9:24). Jesus not only went before us, entering on our behalf, but He is alive and has a present ministry in heaven, serving as our high priest in the true tabernacle made by God (Hebrews 6:19-20; 8:1-2).

We are also told by Jesus Himself that there are many rooms in God’s house and that He has gone before us to prepare a place for us. We have the assurance of His word that He will one day come back to earth and take us to where
He is in heaven (John 14:1-4). Our belief in an eternal home in heaven is based on an explicit promise of Jesus. Heaven is most definitely a real place. Heaven truly does exist.

When people deny the existence of heaven, they deny not only the written Word of God, but they also deny the innermost longings of their own hearts. Paul addressed this issue in his letter to the Corinthians, encouraging them to cling to the hope of heaven so that they would not lose heart. Although we “groan and sigh” in our earthly state, we have the hope of heaven always before us and are eager to get there (
2 Corinthians 5:1-4). Paul urged the Corinthians to look forward to their eternal home in heaven, a perspective that would enable them to endure hardships and disappointments in this life. “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).

Just as God has put in men’s hearts the knowledge that He exists (
Romans 1:19-20), so are we “programmed” to desire heaven. It is the theme of countless books, songs, and works of art. Unfortunately, our sin has barred the way to heaven. Since heaven is the abode of a holy and perfect God, sin has no place there, nor can it be tolerated. Fortunately, God has provided for us the key to open the doors of heaven—Jesus Christ (John 14:6). All who believe in Him and seek forgiveness for sin will find the doors of heaven swung wide open for them. May the future glory of our eternal home motivate us all to serve God faithfully and wholeheartedly. “Since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is his body, and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart full of assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water” (Hebrews 10:19-22).

HEAVEN -Where is Heaven? What is the location of Heaven?

Where is Heaven? What is the location of Heaven?

Question: "Where is Heaven? What is the location of Heaven?"

Answer:
Heaven is most certainly a real place. The Bible very definitely speaks of heaven’s existence—and access to heaven through faith in Jesus Christ—but there are no verses that give us a Mapquest style location. The short answer to this question is, “heaven is where God is.” The place referred to in this question is called the “third heaven” and “paradise” in 2 Corinthians 12:1-4, where the apostle Paul tells of a living man who was “caught up” to heaven and was unable to describe it. The Greek word translated “caught up” is also used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 in describing the rapture, wherein believers will be caught up to be with the Lord. These passages have led to the conclusion that heaven is beyond the earth’s airspace and beyond the stars.

However, since God is spirit, “heaven” cannot signify a place remote from us which He inhabits. The Greek gods were thought of as spending most of their time far away from earth in sort of a celestial equivalent of the Bahamas, but the God of the Bible is not like this. He is always near us when we call on Him (
James 4:8) and we are encouraged to “draw near” to Him (Hebrews 10:1, 22). Granted, the “heaven” where saints and angels dwell has to be thought of as a sort of locality, because saints and angels, as God’s creatures, exist in space and time. But when the Creator is said to be “in heaven,” the thought is that He exists on a different plane from us, rather than in a different place.

That God in heaven is always near to His children on earth is something which the Bible expresses throughout. The New Testament mentions heaven with considerable frequency. Yet, even with this frequency, detailed description of its location is missing. Perhaps God has intentionally covered its location in mystery, for it is more important for us to focus on the God of heaven than the description or location of it. It is more important to know the why than the where. The New Testament focuses on the purpose of heaven more than telling us what it is like or where it is.
We have seen that hell is for separation and punishment (Matthew 8:12, 22:13). Heaven, on the other hand, is for fellowship and eternal joy and, more importantly, worshipping around the throne of God.

QUESTIONS:WHAT WILL HEAVEN BE LIKE?,WHO WILL GO THERE?HOW WE CAN KNOW FOR SURE?

What will Heaven be like?
Who will go there?
How can we know for sure?

Author Unknown

Most people would live much more loving, fruitful and productive lives on earth if they would realize more the reality of heaven and live in light of it. We were born (again) with a destination in mind. It is time to reckon with the truth of heaven.

Heaven is the dwelling place of God. Heaven is where some will go at death (but others will never see). When the spirit leaves the human body, heaven becomes the believer's one true, eternal Home. Those who believe in Jesus are meant to happily anticipate heaven each day with great fervor and delight. For heaven is eternal joy! Heaven is forever.

I believe contemplating heaven is both wonderful and fascinating. The Bible has many encouraging and sobering truths to share also about eternal rewards and eternal judgment. The revelation of all the ages (God's Word in the Bible) was written to reveal to our hearts a place which is eternal. We were born to go there. When we die we will.

I hope this message will stimulate you to give serious thought (perhaps for the first time) to Heaven! (It should probably be noted that popular notion as well as many of the world's religions and cult groups typically distort clear Biblical truths about heaven and the basis for arriving there. So it becomes extra important for you personally to know what God says about your intended eternal home. Watch out for liars and false spiritual soothsayers. Pretenders who do not truly know or affirm Jesus for Who He really is. (2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2:15; Prov. 30:5-6, Is. 8:19-20) Rejoice in the truth. Search it out fully. Prepare your heart. Get your ticket. Jesus is the Way to Heaven!

A summary of the scriptural teaching on Heaven follows...

Heaven is a place which can be understood and revealed. The Bible describes times and ways which God supernaturally gives glimpses and revelations of heaven to people here on the earth (see: Revelation, the last book of the Bible). Jacob, in the Old Testament had a dream and revelation about heaven. (Gen. 28) Saints all through the ages have glimpsed eternity (common, ordinary folks like you and me who believe in Jesus). I myself have received two dreams which described heaven to me. In one, the Lord showed me Psalm 16:11 (made alive and dramatized), that heaven is being FILLED WITH JOY in God's Presence forever. Hallelujah!

Heaven is

  • where God is
  • the dwelling place of God (Deut. 26:15; Matt. 6:9, Rev. 21:3-5).
  • the dwelling place of God's angels (Luke 2:15; Matt. 28:2;Heb. 12:22).
  • where we can go after death (but only some will)
  • Heaven is a very real place.
  • where Jesus came from (John :42),
  • where He returned after his resurrection (Acts 1:11),
  • where He now is and from where He will physically return to earth again (Acts 1:11; Rev. 19:1-16, John 1:32; 6:33; Acts 1:2).

Jesus is coming soon! Angels (Matt. 28:2; Rev. 10:1)
and - in rare circumstances - people, even prior to their deaths, have traveled to heavenly places (2 Kings 2:11; 2 Cor. 12:2; Rev. 11:12).

At death, the human spirit leaves the body (Eccl. 12:2) and goes either to heaven or hell
(Luke 16:22ff) There is immediate conscious existence after death, both in heaven and hell (Luke 16:22ff.; Luke 23:43; 2 Cor. 5:8; Rev. 6:9-11; Phil. 1:23). It is doubtful that there is a state of "soul sleep" or any period of unawareness preceding heaven. "Fallen asleep" in 1 Thes. 4:13 is probably a euphemism for death, describing the spirit's departure from the body, which ends our conscious existence on earth. Ecclesiastes also seems to reinforce this notion. It speaks similarly when it describes death (as it appears from the perspective of those who dwell "under the sun.") Paul said that as soon as we are absent from the body, we will be present with the Lord. Hallelujah! (2 Cor. 5:1-11)

At death the believer is ushered into heaven. Apparently by angels (Luke 16:22). Death is a relocation experience (during which we may be accompanied by ministering angels).(Dan. 8:16-26; Luke 1:26-38; Dan. 10:13, 31; Rev. 12:1) (2 Kings 6:17) (Dan.9:21, 23; 10:12-13; Rev. 12:7) (Gen. 18-19) (Heb. 13:2, Heb. 1:14)

* Heaven is the dwelling place of God's children. Christ promised his followers they would live with him in heaven (John 12:26; 13:36; 14:2-3).

Believers in Jesus & faithful followers of the Lord who have died now live there in His presence (Rev. 4-5; Luke 16:22, 25; Heb. 12:23). The names of Christ's redeemed are written in heaven (Luke 10:20; Heb. 12:23; Rev. 20:15).

* Heaven is the Christian believer's "country" of citizenship (Heb. 11:16; Phil. 3:20). Christ is our King. Eternally! Despite how earth-engrossed some of us are, earth is only an alien "country" where believers temporarily reside. (1 Cor. 7:29-31) We are aliens, foreigners, pilgrims and strangers. (Heb. 11:3) Yet while here we are God's ambassadors on earth (2 Cor. 5:20). Healthy, fruitful living begins with remembering our stay here is brief. Temporary. The Bible frequently urges us to fix our minds and hearts on what is eternal. (Col. 3:1-4, Ps. 73:23-28) Ambassadors & foreigners identify themselves in heart with their home country (not their temporary, foreign reside). How desperately we need to plan our lives with this focus: ever glimpsing eternity, always maintaining love and allegiance to our One true King, ready and prepared for relocation to our eternal country.

God's people need hearts which long for heaven. This quality of heart (longing for heaven) is instructed all through scripture and pleases our Lord, who has prepared a place there for us (Heb. 11:13-16; 2 Cor. 5:2). We are meant to live ever-anticipating heaven (Phil. 3:14; 2 Tim. 4:8). The Bible encourages us especially to long for His appearing (the bodily coming of Jesus upon the clouds in power and great glory). He is coming soon. His Second Coming is very near. Right at the door! Hallelujah! Heaven & the Lamb at its center are worthy of being regular & central to our attention. (Jn. 1:29, Revelation 5) Our hearts or minds are urged to be set on "things above" where Christ is - in heaven, not on "earthly things." (Col. 3:1-4)

Note: The popular adage about Christians being "so heavenly minded that they are of no earthly good" is a myth. And helps perpetuate other lies in half-hearted Christianity. On the contrary, most people are so EARTHLY minded they are of no heavenly or earthly good. C. S. Lewis said, "It is since Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this one." God commands us instead to be heavenly minded. Setting our minds on things above helps put daily life and issues in better perspective, frees us from discouragement and misdirected energies and priorities. Heavenly meditation makes us more sensitive to Jesus, His voice and Presence. Jesus is our power to live and be fruitful on earth (John 15, Heb. 11:26-27). Heaven gives the struggling Christian peace and a happy heart even in the midst of life's greatest trials.
