I could relate to that.. and still do! Paul was SO strong on God's elective role, His soverenty... but he didn't bow to pressure to alter the message of Grace and the cross ...for Moses lovers or from pagans who both hounded him to death ... the 39 lashes multiple times, stoning multiple times, beaten with rods multiple times, extended periods in gaol, reputation attacked... most would want to wash their hands of the maddening crowds ... but he wouldn't stop!.. but said woe is me if I don't preach this message!... and 'woes' are a big deal.. not what anyone wants to hear ...like the 7 woes by Jesus.. and by Isaiah. Much more could be said... but a lot more should be done! :-Geoff Shaw
