Wednesday, February 10, 2010 Isaiah Was Very Bold The Bible says "But Isaiah is very bold and says: 'I was found by those who did not seek Me.'" Why was Isaiah considered "bold?" It was because he was saying that salvation was also for the Gentiles. Most Jews thought it was confined to Israel, and that's why they tried to kill Paul when he said that he was sent to the Gentiles (Acts 22:21-22). But the promise of eternal life has always been universal. Joel 2:32 says, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." The Gospel is for all humanity. That means your loved ones, your neighbors, your coworkers, and even your boss may be saved. So, be "very bold." Today, take the good news that Jesus Christ has abolished death to those who sit in the shadow of death. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
