Come, all ye faithful,
joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem!
Come and behold him,
born the King of angels!
O come, let us adore him!
O come, let us adore him!
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!
See how the shepherds
summoned to his cradle,
leaving their flocks, draw nigh to gaze!
We, too, will thither
bend our joyful footsteps.
O come, let us adore him!
O come, let us adore him!
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!
O come, all ye faithful,
joyful and triumphant,
o come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem!
Come and behold him,
born the King of angels!
O come, let us adore him!
O come, let us adore him!
O come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!

CULMEA CRACIUNULUI
Culmea Crăciunului
POSTAT deasemenea pe http://www.bisericata.com/ro1/December 24, 2009 de Cosmin Pascu
POEZII DE CRACIUN
Oftează un vânt printre crengi de măslini
Şi-n mare se scaldă aprinsă chindia,
O floare triumfă, ieşind dintre spini
Şi-nalţă corola sfios spre Maria.
Duiosul său suflet nu are rival,
Aceasta întrece a omului minte,
E marea Ta taină venită de sus!...”
Pe faţa fecioarei se joacă un vânt,
Lumina din ochi îi devine un jar,
Divina minune cuprinsă-n Cuvânt
E glasul salvării, al Domnului Har.

LERUI, DOAMNE, LOGOS SFÂNT!
Lerui-ler, altar în piept,
Vino, Doamne, eu Te-aştept
Cu-aşternut de suflet bun
Azi, în ziua de Crăciun.
Lerui, vergura Maria
A născut azi pe Mesia.
Din Duh Sfânt în trup curat
Vine Marele-Împărat.
Lerui, Visul de lumină,
Lerui-ler, Lumină lină,
Lerui, calea ne-a deschis
Şi-om avea acelaşi vis.
Lerui, merilor în floare,
Azi e mare sărbătoare,
Curăţiţi-vă pridvorul
Şi primiţi Mântuitorul!
Lerui, Doamne, sfânt şi bun,
Frântă-i creanga de alun
Şi-un brad e scobit căuş
Ca să-i facem legănuş.
Lerui-ler, Prunc legănat,
Din Cuvânt Te-ai întrupat!
Steaua sufletu-mi îndoaie
Inima să-mi fac copaie.
Lerui, Doamne, lerui-ler,
Duhurile rele pier,
Prin pădurile de fagi,
Vin acum păstori şi magi.
Lerui, Doamne la chindie,
Eşti izvor de apă vie,
Ca să bem din ea mereu,
Lerui, Om şi Dumnezeu!
Lerui, Doamne, Logos Sf ânt,
Domn în cer şi pe pământ,
Halleluiah, Domine!
Inimi noi cutremure!
Ieşiţi, gazdelor, în tindă,
Vine sfânta Lui colindă,
Pruncul doarme-n faşă lin,
Cum, Doamne ai putut să-mpaci
preexistenţa Ta din slavă
şi humei haină să îmbraci
să-i bei paharul cu otravă?
şi mă mângâie iubirea-I revărsată-n boiul firii.
Tot “ler” subliniază calitatea de-a atrage, de-a avea farmec, de-a plăcea, etc.
Nu-i undeva ascuns în sfere;
Ci lângă mine stă şi-mparte
Bucata pâinii de durere.
S-a făcut Trup să-mi dea şi mie,
Nevrednicul de sub păcate,
Răscumpărarea din urgie,
Si viaţa dincolo de moarte.
Nu, Domnul meu nu stă cu teamă
Ascuns pe undeva-n unghere;
E Căpetenia de seamă,
Cu tron şi slavă şi putere…
Dar într-o zi Şi-a scos porfirul
Ca să ia zdrenţele sărace;
A lăsat cerul şi zefirul,
Ca-n haina mea să Se îmbrace.
Şi ştiu c-asupra mea veghează,
Când plâng sub crucea de ocară;
Nu doarme şi nu dormitează
Când eu mă chinui sub povară.
El, Dumnezeu, cu-a Sa tărie
Stă lângă mine pe cărare;
Călătorim cu bucurie,
Din cortul meu… spre-a Lui Splendoare.

25 DECEMBRIE-IZVOARE IN DESERT
„Şi-i vor pune numele Emanuel“, care, tălmăcit, înseamnă:
„Dumnezeu este cu noi“.
(Matei 1:23)
Domn al păcii. (Isaia 9:6)
THE REAL MEANING OF CHRISTMAS
By Martha Noebel
CBN.com - It's that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinners with family and friends, snow in the yard, stockings hanging in the living room, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?
For many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They don't have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. Many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home for various reasons. Turkey dinners may be only a wish and not a reality for some.
Yet, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. The prophets had told of His coming hundreds of years before. The star stopped over Bethlehem just to mark the way for those who were looking for this special child.
Luke 2: 4-19 says:
"So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart."
Why did He come? Why did God send His son to this sometimes cruel and hard world? He sent Jesus to us so that one day, He would grow up to become a very important part of history. His story (history) is one of truth, love, and hope. It brought salvation to all of us. Without Jesus, we would all die in our sins.
Jesus was born so one day the price could be paid for the things we have done that are wrong. The Bible says that all have sinned. We are all born with a sin nature. We do things that do not please God. Through the sins of Adam and Eve, we have all inherited that sin nature. We need to have that removed. The only way is through Jesus. Jesus came so He could die on the cross for ALL of our sins. If we believe that Jesus died for our sins, we can ask Him to come into our hearts and forgive us. Then, we are clean and made whole. We can know that heaven is a place where we can go to when this life is over.
"But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong." I John 1:9
We can truly be happy at Christmas! No matter what may be happening, we can know that we are His children. We then become sons and daughters of God. Heaven will be our home one day.
Look at Christmas in a new way this year. This is the year to invite Jesus into your heart. You will then have a "Merry Christmas." The joy and peace you will receive will last all year as you look to God for all your needs to be met.
Jesus Is The Reason For The Season! Rejoice!

The Great Reversal
The Great Reversal
.....................All of Jesus’ ministry—the words he spoke, the miracles he performed—showed that there was a new order in town: God’s order. When Jesus healed the diseased, raised the dead, and forgave the desperate, he did so to show that with the arrival of God in the flesh came the restoration of the way God intended things to be. New life was given, health was restored; God was reversing the curse of death, disease, and discomfort. The incarnation of Christ began the “great reversal.”Tim Keller observes that Christ’s miracles were not the suspension of the natural order but the restoration of the natural order. They were a reminder of what once was prior to the Fall and a preview of what will eventually be a universal reality once again—a world of peace and justice, without death, disease, or conflict.
To be sure, when Christ comes again, the process of reversing the curse of sin and recreating all things will be complete (1 Cor. 15:51-58). The peace on earth that the angels announced the night Christ was born will become a universal actuality. God’s cosmic rescue mission will be complete. The fraying fabric of our fallen world will be fully and perfectly rewoven. Everything and everyone “in Christ” will live in perfect harmony. Shalom will rule.
Isaiah pictures it this way:
The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.
The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra,
and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den.
They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain;
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6-9)
For those who have found forgiveness of sins in Christ, there will one day be no more sickness, no more death, no more tears, no more division, no more tension. The pardoned children of God will work and worship in a perfectly renewed earth without the interference of sin. We who believe the gospel will enjoy sinless hearts and minds along with disease-free bodies. All that causes us pain and discomfort will be destroyed, and we will live forever. We’ll finally be able “to enjoy what is most enjoyable with unbounded energy and passion forever.”
Christmas is the celebration of this process begun and the promise that it will one day be completed.
