Heavenly Father,
As the palm branches were spread out
before Jesus, as He rode into Jerusalem,
so we wait for Him now
with our hearts spread out.
Prepare us to be with you.
Open our eyes,
so your light may 
shine all around us.
In Jesus’ name, 
Amen.
