Christianity can be condensed into four words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. -Samuel Wilberforce

As Thanksgiving rolls around once again, I think of what a legitimate holiday this is. Can anyone argue with its relevance, especially for a Christian? It remains a time of sharing of our bounty that comes from Him, “who gives us all things richly to enjoy”. We usually share it with family, which is a great blessing. Family is the basic element in the structure of the church and is what God had in mind, when He created man, male and female. Let’s settle onto that God-given foundation again this year and rejoice in it; let us be determined, as far as we and our house are concerned, this will be our position… because “if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Ps.11:3

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Hope you have an attitude of gratitude today! It is expressed best in poem by Fannie Crosby when she was a little girl. She was blinded at the age of 6 months.
” Oh what a happy girl am I, Although I can not see.
I have determined in this world contented I will be.
How many blessings I receive that other people don’t.
To weep and sigh because I’m blind, I cannot and I won’t.”
