Thank You Mom !!

Mom, I think it’s time you knew
Just how special you really are.
From the time that I was little
You’ve been deep within my heart.
The things that you’ve taught me
I have learned well.
And the scoldings I got then
I appreciate now.
I’ll never forget the things
That you’ve done for us kids,
Putting us before yourself
And at the top of your list.
You’ve always brought the sunshine
In the middle of a storm,
You’ve made us feel better
With your love and concern.
We haven’t always agreed
About things in my life,
And I’ve disappointed you
Maybe once or twice,
But you still believe in me
And you always back me up,
And that’s why you’re so special
And why you’re loved so very much.
It’s because of who you are
That I am who I am,
And you deserve the best
For being a wonderful mother and friend.
