COSTACHE IOANID

Ce-i viata ta ...?! -Costache Ioanid -( Cerboaicaiubita )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96JOTpJ0_GI&feature=related
Ce-i viata ta ?!
Ce-i viata ta? E o penita
Cu care scrii mereu pe-un drum.
Si-apoi la ultima portita
Tot ce-ai scris tu ca pe-o tablita,
Nu se mai sterge nicidecum.

Si vorbe-n vant si fapte rele
Raman pe veci ca-ntr-un album.
Pazit e scrisul tau de stele.
De-ai pune mari intregei sa-l spele,
Nu se mai sterge nicidecum.

In ceasul greu de judecata
Iti vei citi intregul drum.
Si vei zbucni in plans deodata.
Dar nici o slova-nlacrimata
Nu se mai sterge nicidecum.

N-o poate sterge decat sange,
dar sange sfant si nu oricum.
Ce inger trupul sau va frange?
Si-astfel, ce-ai scris, oricat ai plange,
Nu se mai sterge nicidecum.

Isus cel drag veni din zare
Ca tu sa scapi din foc si fum!
Prin El trecutul tau dispare.
Dar daca azi nu-I ceri iertare,
Nu se mai sterge nicidecum.

Isus pe lemn rabda arsita.
Isus e pretul tau acum.
Prin El esti alb ca lamaita.
Si tot ce-a scris candva penita
Nu se mai sterge nicidecum

Ma iubesti ? - Costache Ioanid -( Cerboaicaiubita )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlE_B3e9MP0&feature=related

Simti ca-n lume straine ti-s toate?
Simti ca-n Mine ti-e totu-mplinit?

Nici eu nu-i caut vindecarea.
A răspuns Domnul Isus:

“….drumul in Locul prea sfant, nu era inca deschis cata vreme sta in picioare cortul dintai.”

I Cor. 14:26 (Ce facem cand venim la adunare?, o poezie)

By vesteabuna
(I Cor 14:26)

cum le-a primit… când vă-ntâlniţi la adunare împreună;

PUTEREA ce-I ascunsă-n CRUCE
şi în cuvântul ei smerit
şi în aspectu-I de ruşine
în felul ei dispreţuit
ce-n Har mai revărsat ne vine..

Doar Har s-aduc,

(I Cor 1:30)

In all places, God has His own witnesses of the Gospel to proclaim His Word. And we, in the year 2000, are very special witnesses because when the Lord spoke to His disciples and told them to go to all the world and proclaim the Gospel, the smart people of that time could have smiled, a God who dies on the cross, doesn't leave behind an organization, committee or bank, and says to this small group "Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel." We, after 2000 years, who live now, are witnesses

A CALL FOR DISCERNMENT

Justin Peters A Call for Discernment (part 1 of 4)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYVg6B4CzM4&feature=player_embedded
This is a 4 part demo of Justin's Seminar A Call for Discernment. This seminar is a fair, comprehensive, biblical critique of the modern Word of Faith movement. Word of Faith theology (WoF) dominates Christian satellite and cable television and is making alarming inroads into our churches. This seminar contains dozens of audio and video clips (primarily the latter) of various WoF leaders such as Benny Hinn, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Jessie Duplantis, Creflo Dollar, etc.

Highly recommended and if interested you can buy the full seminar at

My Jesus, I love Thee,
I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the follies
of sin I resign;

My gracious Redeemer,
My Savior art Thou;
If ever I loved Thee,
My Jesus, 'tis now.

I love Thee because
Thou hast first loved me,
And purchased my pardon
on Calvary's tree;

I love Thee for wearing
the thorns on Thy brow;
If ever I loved Thee,
my Jesus, 'tis now!

In mansions of glory
and endless delight,
I'll ever adore Thee
in heaven so bright;

I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow,
If ever I loved Thee,
my Jesus, 'tis now!

my Jesus, 'tis now!

CHARACTER

Character
http://www.discipleshiptools.org/pages.asp?pageid=60403

Do you really know what Christian Character is all about?
“Character is what you are in the dark.” D.L. Moody
Do you want to know? Real, authentic Christian character is formed by our commitment to Christ. When we surrender to Christ and allow His piercing work to grow and enrich us, so that the Spirit flows. Our spiritual discipline, motives, obedience, and persevering faith will be the keys! All it takes is to be in love with Christ. Seek His presence, grow in your discipleship and be persistent in your prayers and in so doing you will be building your Character too.
When we say we follow Christ, do our actions show that we do; are we in fact being Christ-like? Or is something else happening in our life and relationships? Perhaps, what we think we are like is not how we come across. Maybe, other Christians see us as being reprehensible before our Lord and to others around us! Or worse we are producing the “works of the flesh” to all those around us, family, friends, Christians and non-Christians alike (Gal. 5). Being pretenders of the faith, giving a show, but having no real substance behind us is extremely destructive to the Body of Christ and the reputation of our Lord!
Christian Character?
This article also serves as the introduction to our Bible Study series on Character!
Real, authentic Christian character is formed when you surrender to Christ and allow His piercing work to grow and enrich you, so that the Spirit flows. Our spiritual discipline, motives, obedience, and persevering faith will be the keys! All it takes is to be in love with Christ. Seek His presence and be persistent in your prayers.
We are called to be careful how we live. People will be watching us wherever we go; how we are, and what we are will be scrutinized. Therefore, we must strive to do our best, so our Lord is represented with excellence through us.
Character is a spiritual Fruit that is built from our real, godly relationship and commitment to Christ as LORD. It is the fiber of our moral center that stretches throughout our being, embracing and holding together our relationships when it is sealed as a choice and commitment, and not just a feeling or a personality. Character synergistically combines with the Fruit of the Spirit and the seventy or so other characters of our Lord to promote our ability to relate and grow in our relations, to better others as well as ourselves. Let us take a quick look at the main characters that all flow from God’s love to us and the work of the Sprit by the way of the Fruit of the Spirit.
Character is fueled by the power of the Spirit empowering us so we can model the character of Christ! The demands for people of character are more needed then ever before. Our culture does not value it, yet it insists on it. Just watch the news and see how the reporters attack people with no character, even though they may not have it themselves.
As mature Christians, we must come to the point that we allow the search and conviction of the Holy Spirit upon our lives to the very core of our souls (2 Cor. 13:5)! Once this happens, the result will be more faith and more use to Christ. The result for your church will be more focus upon His precepts and increased prayer, which will bring an outpouring of the Spirit and renewal!
Virtue is the application of being good from both the conscious will to do what is right from God’s revealed Word and from personal responsibility. It encompasses integrity, honesty, compassion, and endearment and this is the quintessence of what biblical Character (that is right standards, strength, courage, modesty, and purity all done in excellence) is to be. We acquire Virtue by our faith, our obedience to Christ, being persistent in Him, and clothing ourselves in Him.
Make sure you have a godly disposition! Do people treat you unfairly? Have you ever wondered why? Well, we live in a fallen world, and we are all filled with sin. Sin affects our relationships and personality, the way we treat people, and the way they treat us.
Here is a chart that lists two sets of Fruit and ways of living. One side represents Christ’s redemptive work that we comply to continue by being grateful, pursuing His Grace and applying His Fruit into our daily lives. The other side represents the corruption of sin, the old self that we are called to get rid of.

It is imperative that when we say we are a follower of Christ, our character and behaviors reflect Him and His call to us to the best of our abilities which includes our temperament. If we are in leadership, this is even more imperative! We demonstrate Character and integrity when we do what we say and act out what we believe; if not, we are hypocrites, and woe to us for being one (Matt. 23)!
Character is the springboard from which all we do and say in life comes. Developing Biblical character in the face of our daily life and even in adversity is essential and the proof text that we have a growing relationship with Christ!
Is Good Character In You?

MERCY AND GRACE -THE DIFFERENCE

What is the difference

between mercy

and grace?

Question: "What is the difference between mercy and grace?"

Answer:
Mercy and grace are often confused. While the terms have similar meanings, grace and mercy are not the same. To summarize the difference: mercy is God not punishing us as our sins deserve and grace is God blessing us despite the fact that we do not deserve it. Mercy is deliverance from judgment. Grace is extending kindness to the unworthy.

According to the Bible, we have all sinned (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8). As a result of that sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23) and eternal judgment in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12-15). With that in mind, every day we live is an act of God's mercy. If God gave us all what we deserve, we would all be, right now, condemned for eternity. In Psalm 51:1-2, David cries out, "Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin." A plea to God for mercy is asking Him to withhold the judgment we deserve and instead grant to us the forgiveness we in no way have earned.

We deserve nothing from God. God does not owe us anything. Anything good that we experience is a result of the grace of God (Ephesians 2:5). Grace is simply defined as unmerited favor. God favors, or gives us good things that we do not deserve and could never earn. Rescued from judgment by God's mercy, grace is anything and everything we receive beyond that mercy (Romans 3:24). Common grace refers to the sovereign grace which God bestows on all of mankind regardless of their spiritual standing before Him, while saving grace is that special dispensation of grace where by God sovereignly bestows unmerited divine assistance upon His elect for their regeneration and sanctification.

Mercy and grace are best illustrated in the salvation that is available through Jesus Christ. We deserve judgment, but if we receive Jesus Christ as Savior, we receive mercy from God and we are delivered from judgment. Instead of judgment, we receive by grace salvation, forgiveness of sins, abundant life (John 10:10
), and an eternity in Heaven, the most wonderful place imaginable (Revelation 21-22). Because of the mercy and grace of God, our response should be to fall on our knees in worship and thanksgiving. Hebrews 4:16 declares, "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

TIME - DO SOMETHING WITH NOTHING...NOW...

Our Daily Bread - Do Something With Nothing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0h77o4L58w
A newspaper ad showed three people waiting for a city bus. Two of them were bored and listless, while the third was happily playing a game on a small electronic device. Do something with your nothing, the ad said. That nothing time. The time in between everything else you have to do. The idea was to sell the portable player so people could use all those segments of wasted waiting time.

I suspect that many of us already constructively use those small increments of waiting time to read a book, memorize a verse, or pray for a friend. Its our longer waiting periods filled with uncertainty and indecision that may leave us anxious and frustrated.
Paul challenged the Christians in Ephesus to walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Eph. 5:9-21).
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit[a]is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says:
“ Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.
The Greek scholar Kenneth Wuest suggests that this refers to time in its strategic, opportune seasons and means making a wise and sacred use of every opportunity for doing good.
During those seasons when we wonder, How did I get here and when can I leave? its best to look for our God-given opportunities instead of focusing on the obstacles. Thats the way to do something with our nothing. — David C. McCasland
Wait and, in waiting, listen for His leading;
Be strong, thy strength for every day is stored.
Go forth in faith, and let thine heart take courage;
There is no disappointment with the Lord. —Anon.
When you find time on your hands, put them together in prayer.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall no more death, neither sorrow, nor criying, heither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away .... " Revelation: 21: 1-27

This song is from the book of Isaiah, it says

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I; send me!" - Isaiah 6:8

They are not mormon, no. The American Boychoir is the only non-sectarian residential choir school in the US, and one of a handful of such institutions in the world. Boys in grades 4-8 from all over America, and sometimes other countries, and of any religious affiliation, can audition to be part of the choir, which is based in Princeton, NJ. They do an awful lot of tours and concerts (in addition to their schoolwork!) , and are nothing short of professional, if you ask me.

STATORNICI IN CREDINTA LOR

Statornici in credinta lor

EVREI 11
36Alţii au suferit batjocuri, bătăi, lanţuri şi închisoare;
39Toţi aceştia, măcar că au fost lăudaţi pentru credinţa lor, totuşi n-au primit ce le fusese făgăduit;

Hebrews 11
32And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, 33who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.
39These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. 40God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.NKJ translation

32 And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. 36 Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two,they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— 38 of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And all these, uthough commended through their faith, udid not receive what was promised, 40 since God had provided something better for us, vthat apart from us they should not be made perfect. ESV translation
