SI TOTUSI... DESPRE HRISTOS-CAPITOLUL 1-

SI TOTUSI... DESPRE HRISTOS

Luca 22:39-45

Demoni inspaimantatori danseaza in jurul Sau in agonia Lui.

Acei ce-L vor trimite jos in Sheol, in Locuinta mortilor, vin condusi de un prieten. Prieten?

Pacatele mele.

Indiferenta mea depravata, cele mai negre fapte, limba mea mincinoasa si aroganta, urmarirea exclusiva a propriilor mele interese, toate acestea afisate in fata sufletului Sau rugator, trebuie sa fi fost cea mai grea tortura pentru El.

Macar odata, Satana a anticipat adevarul.

In ciuda tuturor argumentelor rationale pentru viata, Isus alege crucea.

Omenirea pacatoasa, condamnata, atarna in balanta.

Spune, Doamne. Spune doar un cuvant, si voi trai.

SI TOTUSI

Totusi. Cuvantul cuvintelor. Liberi in sfarsit. Cu acest unic cuvant, Fiul ne-a eliberat

INTRODUCERE

Brusc tonul unei discutii s-a ridicat peste celelate.

“Cred ca nu-i adevarat,” i-o intoarce acesta.

Cineva mi-a spus cum a invatat sa aiba intotdeauna ultimul cuvant in fata sotiei. Indiferent ce spune ea, el raspunde, “Da, draga.”

Hmm.

Putem fi noi acei care raman in picioare in lupta cu diavolul, ca Romeo deasupra celui care-l chinuia in vestiar, si cu credinta triumfatoare sa rostim cuvantul।

~He Is God~

~He Is God~

He is the First and Last,
The Beginning and the End!

He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be ...
unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!

He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and The people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him, Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him, and "Oprah" can't explain Him away!

He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.

His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life
!

I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.

I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful,
the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and is to come. And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.

His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
never forsake me,
never mislead me,
never forget me,
never overlook me and
never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!

He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.

He is God, He is faithful. I am His, and He is mine!

My Father in heaven can conquer the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...

He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.

Everyday is a blessing for PEOPLE WHO TRUST IN GOD AND ARE HIS CHILDREN!

This link was emailed to me by a dear friend. I am an Indian from Bombay, & an ex-muslim. This gone Easter after 2 years of grounding in the Christian faith I was baptised along with 14 other muslims & a couple of buddhists and hindus. I am happy I embraced the One True Living God. I found that I was living a lie in the koran and mohd and allah. Today I have found what it is to be loved by God come what ever, & not just prostrate before a god who is aloof & demands that you obey & fear him.

Wow this is really great. This song has some of the most powerful lyrics. The Newsboys did this song too and it's so good. Thanks for this video friend. Also, please pray for the Marathi people everbody; there are nearly 100,000,000 who don't know Jesus. Groups like the India Gospel League, iglworld, and other groups try to witness to these people with the Good News of Salvation through Christ. They really need our help so they can share this message of love and hope.

Product description

Best-selling author Ray Comfort has a love-hate relationship with atheists: They hate him, but he loves them. Atheists, notes Comfort, are disturbed when he simply and elegantly states exactly what they believe-that nothing created everything, which is a scientific impossibility-and in so doing exposes the common error that atheists are committed to illogical thinking. Now, as the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin's "Origin of the Species" approaches, Comfort debunks this prominent view with his latest book: "Nothing Created Everything: The Scientific Impossibility of Atheistic Evolution".

"Nothing Created Everything" offers readers a fascinating and intensely thought-provoking glimpse into Comfort's world-an ongoing dialogue with professed atheists.

Comfort dedicates the book to popular contemporary atheist evolutionist Richard Dawkins, who introduced the oxymoronic concept "Nothing Created Everything": "To Richard Dawkins, in the sincere hope that he looks beyond the hypocrisy of organized religion, before he goes to meet his maker."

Dawkins wrote in his 2004 book "The Ancestor's Tale": "The fact that life evolved out of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years after the universe evolved literally out of nothing-is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice."

"Nothing created Everything" is Comfort's informative, loving, and no-holds-barred response to Dawkins. "Anyone who tries to actually justify that nothing created everything has to be insane," writes Comfort. "This is a scientific impossibility." He continues, "There's no way to say it kindly, but such thoughts show that the atheist doesn't think, and proves the Bible right when it says that the fool has said in his heart that there is no God."

    MORE ABOUT ,,NAKED GOSPEL ''

    ABOUT ,,NAKED GOSPEL ''
The Naked Gospel: The Truth You May Never Hear in Church.
    Eliminating 'churchy jargon' and 'religiosity'
    Pete Chagnon - OneNewsNow - 9/16/2009 5:00:00 AM

The author of a new book is encouraging Christians to present the gospel plainly.

The Naked GospelAndrew Farley is a tenured professor at Texas Tech University and the author of The Naked Gospel: The Truth You May Never Hear in Church. The book deals with so-called Christian jargon, "Christianese," and double-talk. Farley says at one time in his life he was doing all the things he believed a good Christian should be doing, yet he still felt miserable and depressed. He adds that finally he realized that as a Christian he was trying to gain God's favor by becoming addicted to religion.

"You know, lots of people have been turned off by church, burned out by church, and yet they still have a curiosity, a sincere interest in Jesus. And that's what this book does...it strips away the churchy jargon, it strips away the religiosity that many feel is so empty," he notes. "And it's an invitation to grab ahold of something -- something that I call 'Jesus plus nothing.'"

Farley says the book was an accumulation of his own 10-year journey into a closer relationship with God. The book tackles what he believes are common misconceptions within the church, such as the Ten Commandments, among other things. He contends that the Ten Commandments are not meant for the modern church.

"The fruit of the spirit replaces the work of the law in the Christian. And the presence of Christ indwelling us is the reason that we can be free from the entire law," he explains. "We don't even need the moral law if we have Jesus Christ, who is moral."

Farley is also a pastor of Ecclesia, a "church without religion."

    THE AUTHOR, ANDREW FARLEY

Andrew Farley is lead teaching pastor of Ecclesia (www.EcclesiaOnline.com). He served as a professor of linguistics at University of Notre Dame for five years and is now a tenured professor at Texas Tech University. Andrew enjoys helping others discover the liberating truths that are the birthright of every child of God. He lives in Lubbock, Texas with his wife Katharine and their son Gavin.

    BELIEFS

Since 1955, our church has resided on the high plains of West Texas. We are a church without religion. We teach "Jesus plus nothing" for salvation and "Jesus plus nothing" as the answer for daily living.

We believe the Bible was fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error in the original manuscripts. We accept the Bible in its entirety, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, as the sufficient and final authority for guiding man to faith in God through Jesus Christ.

We believe that there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God is unchanging, all-knowing, all powerful and the creator of heaven and earth.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God who became fully human without ceasing to be fully God. We believe that He lived a sinless life and took away our sins by dying on the cross. He then bodily arose from the dead after three days and ascended to the right hand of God as advocate for those who trust Him for salvation. We believe He will return again to complete God's eternal plan.

We believe that the truth of the gospel is shocking and will forever alter the way that one lives life. We believe that Jesus Christ has totally removed and forgotten all of our sins. We believe that He literally lives inside each person who has received Him by faith. We believe that He motivates us by grace to live upright lives. We believe that Christians have the best thing going on Planet Earth!

    The Naked Gospel: Endorsements

“How do you know a sailboat is maxed out in the wind? You listen for the hum. This book shows you how to open the sails of your life to the winds of truth, and to max out in God’s Spirit. Read this book and hear the hum.”

    Leonard Sweet

“If you’re tired of wearing the ‘I’m a super Christian’ mask and are weary and discouraged on the inside, read this book and experience the freedom Jesus brings.”

    Mary DeMuth
    Author, Daisy Chain, Thin Places

“What a great ‘textbook’ on how to strip away all the religious fakery and take the challenge to just be a normal person while being a healthy Christian.”

    Steve Arterburn
Founder and Chairman of New Life Ministries

“Our culture screams at us, ‘productivity!’ and often, this mantra gets absorbed and spread by the church. Grace is a word we use often, but rarely understand the depth and true meaning of. In The Naked Gospel, Andrew Farley strips down religion and shows us the faith and freedom God intends for us to have in a fully abundant, radiant life.”

    Anne Jackson
Speaker and author of Mad Church Disease

“The Naked Gospel is an intelligently written book that is thoroughly intriguing. Your church or small group could benefit greatly by its wisdom and concepts. This is a must read!”

    Dave Stone
    Senior Minister
    Southeast Christian Church

“The message that Andrew Farley brings in The Naked Gospel is so necessary for the church today. It is absolutely essential for a fulfilling and genuinely Christ-centered life.”

    John Best, Th.D.
Former Professor of New Testament Literature and Exegesis
    Dallas Theological Seminary

“For over three years, I have co-hosted radio and television programs with Dr. Andrew Farley. I have had the opportunity to pose hundreds of questions to this amazingly insightful teacher and author. God has gifted him with the ability to communicate the meaning of the Scriptures with remarkable simplicity. The clarity of his words should refresh the spirit of every saint, and beckon to the lost. The heart of Andrew Farley’s message is captured in ‘The Naked Gospel’, and I believe God will use this book to spur a church-wide awakening. It comes at the perfect time, when the United States, and indeed the whole world is hungering for answers. ‘The Naked Gospel’ is unabashed truth.”

This is truly awesome. I have been trying to formulate my thoughts and view on this for some time now, and TIm has done an excellent job at addressing the need, focus, nuances, and Biblical motivation for this. Looking over his outline, I did run across one line on page 6, the last line of point 2 that I am expecting is a typo.

As written. "The problem is simply an unjust distribution of opportunity and resources." Shouldn't this read "A large part of the problem..." or similar? In the seminar, Tim outlined very profoundly that both typical political views regarding meeting basic human needs was much less black and white as this paragraph reads. Thoughts?
    Reply by Julie Bauer
I appreciated his presentation of the scriptural basis meeting the needs of the poor.
Reply by Chris Bauer I clearly understand how I can respond either in relief or development.

Reply by Brian Barnett What do you think?? Do you think Campus Crusade for Christ, as a whole, does a good job of caring for the compassionate or does just HLI do it? As far as the seminar, I really enjoyed Tim's honest answer about giving to those on the street and/or giving to organizations that care for the poor. (A: Don't usually give to those begging on the street because studies have shown that it doesn't help; give instead to established helping organizations).
    Reply by Amy Brandt

I'm so grateful that the broader ministry of CCC is giving so much attention to this topic.
Reply by Andrew Brandt I really enjoyed the seminar and the discussion that followed with friends about how to implement this on campus.

Sometimes I keep Mcdonald's gift certificates in my glove box. That way you can still drive AND give to the homeless without enabling.
Reply by Becky Ellis I think it's great that as an organization, we are committed to increase our involvement in the communities in which we live. I don't remember exactly how he put it, but I fully agree that in order to be a good messenger of the Gospel, we need to be good neighbors and only when we are good neighbors can we be great messengers.
Reply by Here's Life Inner City Great responses! Keep them coming! Have you all seen the interview Here's Life did with Tim Keller? The first half is posted on the main page of the iHope Community! Check it out!

In light of the call of Scripture, what might I say to a wealthy Christian friend who may have a hint of "prosperity theology" in their worldview, who doesn't feel an obligation to the poor but thinks their problems are their fault and its up to them to get themselves out with more faith and harder work?
    Reply by Carol Sands
Unfortunately, many people with this viewpoint are not very open to looking at this issue honestly. Wealthy people can have a hard time opening their eyes to the truth of helping the poor, especially if their wealth came through hard work. I don’t think there’s anything you can say to this person in one conversation that will change his/her mind. Would it be possible for you to play the audio of Tim Keller’s talk to this person? It’s pretty strong, so that might not be a good option at this point.
Maybe what you can do is start an education process with this person. The book “A Framework for Understanding Poverty” by Ruby Payne is an excellent source to start learning about the culture of poverty. In addition, Here’s Life Inner City has developed a Bible study on DVD called “Compassion by Command” that explores God’s heart for the poor through a movie that depicts a single mom’s spiral into homelessness, through no fault of her own. It’s very representative of what can and does happen. You can go to http://www.compassionbycommand.com/ to check it out, and order it if you wish.

Zmeul cel rau a provocat trupul in ritm de manele:”in sabii sa ne taiem, in
    roade frumoase si dorite

    La pomul cunostintei (o poezie)

    By vesteabuna

    La POMUL CUNOSTINTEI laudat
    cu sacii goi ai curiozitatii
    flamanzi ne ducem zilnic ne-ncetat,
in loc sa ne-ndreptam spre POMUL VIETII

    Cu toate simturile cautam
    adulmecandu-i roadele dorite
tanjind… din ele sa ne infruptam,
privindu-le …se fac si mai iubite.

    Pamantul ne ramane neudat
si ne indepartam de Raul Vietii,
ba chiar de uscaciune a crapat
si peste tot au rasarit scaietii.

    El creste inaintea noastra iar
ca-ntr-un pamant uscat si fara apa
ca o odrasla slaba pe-un hotar
pe unde n-a trecut nici plug, nici sapa.

    asteapta-n anticamera stiintei.

La POMUL CUNOSTINTEI zi de zi
ingramaditi in card tot mai flamand
    culegem stiri, imagini, fantezii
caci ochiul nu se satura vazand.

    Satana de-obicei a ARATAT
shi OCHIUL a cazut intai in plasa,
    priviti!…si aratand a fermecat
    cu o imagine asa frumoasa.

    De la-nceputuri Domnul a VORBIT
    si-s fericiti numiti ascultatorii,
    URECHI daca avem de auzit
am castigat mai mult ca privitorii.

    Spre POMUL CUNOSTINTEI inselati
    de o sinucigas-obisnuinta
    marsaluim ca turma, ca manati
    de bici, inperturbabila cadenta.

    LASTARUL rasarit in loc uscat
    nici frumusete-avand si nici marire
n-ar fi putut sa fie comparat
    cu cel prea-imbracat in stralucire.

Caci cine crede ce ni s-a vestit
si cui i s-a descoperit iertarea?
ca Pomul Cel Frumos e otravit
    si ca-n ODRASLA e rascumpararea.

    De-aceea frate dupa ce asculti
    aceasta poezie, tine minte:
    INFATISAREA-nseala tot mai multi
    intelepciunea-i insa in CUVINTE.

    Nu POMUL CUNOSTINTEI curios
sa-l mai admiri, ci POMUL VIETII NOI
chiar daca nu-i atata de frumos
si merg spre el putini, doar unu-doi.

Desi nu-s nici poet, nici orator
    m-am chinuit s-alcatuiesc un vers
ca sa putem retine mai usor
CUVANTUL, si sa fie greu de sters

din mintea noastra, caci e pentru noi
    ce-apostolul la Coloseni le-a scris:
    ”Vorbiti in poezie intre voi…”

    .”

    Copacii din padure s-au pornit
    odata sa-si aleag-un imparat.
    Maslinul fu intaiul ce-a primit
    propunerea “distinsului” lor sfat:

    “-Imparateste peste noi masline

    vestit pe-ntregul cercului pamant,
    ce-mbucura si satura norodul?…..
….nu merg pentru copaci sa ma framant?”

    “Smochinului i-a spus apoi padurea:
-”smochine vino rege sa imi fii,
sa stai tot singuratic e aiurea,
mai bine e-ntre arbori, ca-n pustii.”

“-Sa-mi las eu rodul meu, a mea dulceata

    Spre vitsa s-a-ndreptat apoi soborul:

a zis:”-Un imparat sa fiu, prea bine,
dar numai daca cedrul cel semet

si toti ceilalti copaci sa vin-or vrea
sa stea la adapost la umbra mea!
De nu, un foc sa ias-acum din spin
    padurea sa o mistuie deplin!”

    ——————————————————–

    doar arborii padurii fara Har
    la umbra spinilor se-adapostesc.

    De-aceea nu ma-ngrijorez deloc
ca n-am un imparat de maracini,
din spinii-regi nu iese decat foc,
eu am un Rege-Domn peste gradini.
